Moali<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wound healing is an example of process which involves extensive remodeling with several steps : hemostasis, inflammation, angiogenesis, re-epithelialization, formation of a provisional extracellular matrix (granulation tissue), wound contraction and matrix remodeling. The BMP-1\/tolloid-like proteinases (BTPs) being essential for matrix assembly, we made the hypothesis that they would be strongly up-regulated during the granulation and remodeling phases. This was demonstrated in a model of corneal wound healing and in human corneas collected from patient undergoing corneal transplantation (Figure). We currently characterize other types of repair processes (skin and heart) to determine if this observation can be extended.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-912 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lbti.ibcp.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Diapositive4-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"407\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><b>Immunofluorescence<\/b> <b>detection<\/b><b> of the BMP-1\/<\/b><b>mTLD<\/b> <b>proteinase<\/b><b> and of the <\/b><b>regulatory<\/b> <b>protein<\/b><b> PCPE-1 in the area of a central <\/b><b>injury<\/b><b> of the <\/b><b>cornea<\/b> <b>associated<\/b> <b>with<\/b> <b>scarring<\/b> <strong>(D\u2019apr\u00e8s Malecaze et al. Sci. 2014).<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In order to better understand the role played by BTPs and associated proteinases (ADAMTS-2, 3 and 14; meprins \u03b1 and \u03b2) in wound healing, we also use quantitative proteomics approaches allowing the identification of proteinase substrates in cell-based models or tissue samples.
