Our specific research aims are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&gt; to analyse the basic mechanisms of tissue organization and homeostasis, and to identify potential therapeutic targets<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&gt; to understand and model the tissue response to physiological or pathological stress (including mechanical stress and aging)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&gt; to develop novel therapeutic approaches for tissue repair and targeted delivery of therapeutic agents<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our laboratory provides a highly multidisciplinary environment, gathering chemists, biochemists, cell and molecular biologists, bio-informaticians, physiologists, physicians and galenic experts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2399 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lbti.ibcp.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Figure-page-accueil-LBTI.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"538\" height=\"498\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">LBTI is a joint research unit of the CNRS and the Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UMR 5305), hosted by the Institute for the Biology and Chemistry of Proteins\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibcp.fr\"><u>(IBCP)<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0 in the bio-campus of Lyon &#8211; Gerland. Directed by Dominique Sigaudo-Roussel, it is organized into 6 research groups.
